What a thrilling last few weeks, I am soo sad it’s all over. I felt we were very lucky competing early on during the Olympic period..us event riders were one of the first medalists so got plenty of press coverage, and then we could really enjoy the rest of the Games. Dear Archie was such a good boy in the dressage..and so were the crowds..keeping quiet when I put my finger to my lips to shush the cheers! Riding around the cross country was awesome, the roar of the crowds was incredible, a wonderful experience which will stay with me for life. The course was small for Archie but the twists and turns made it awkward to ride, so style went rather out of the window and it was a case of getting the job done! Archie and I had to jump a clear round in the showjumping for the team to stay in silver medal position…and we did, yahoo! Wow it was so exciting when Tina also jumped clear and we clinched the silver. How proud we should be of GB putting on such a superb Olympics, I can honestly say out of the 6 Olympics I have done, London was THE BEST!!
